Overview

The University of Kansas Bioengineering Graduate Program is not only an intellectual environment from graduate students but also is among the brightest and most academically talented at the University. Considering Bioengineering is of the fastest growing and most interdisciplinary fields in engineering we want to build a strong community of alumni around the country and the world. Some of our graduates have gone to the most powerful and influential leaders in the industry such as DePuy Synthes and Smith & Nephew. Our outstanding alumni have filed patents, started their own businesses, and continued state of the art research. Please email KU Bioengineering at bioe@ku.edu with alumni news to keep us updated.

This program was founded in 2007 and therefore is just beginning to form an alumni community. Some of our alumni are coming back to meet with students, give seminars, and help develop the program. As our program continues to grow, charitable donations are extremely helpful. Donations can be made through KU Endowment to help with program development, growth, recruitment, retention, research, and so much more.
